When it comes to classroom management, I believe that forming relationships with your students is the most important thing when it comes to setting the tone of your classroom. What are some ways that we as teachers can become our students friends, but also still be respected professionally as their teacher?

I believe that showing students you are invested in the school itself is really important. Staying after school to work with students if they need help with classwork always shows you care enough to use your own time to help them. Also, I think going to school events (such as sporting events) but acting as a professional shows students and their families how much you care.
